Jill Levine

Jill is currently a second year student at Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida. After High School, she attended Bloomsburg State College where she received a B.A. in Psychology. As an undergraduate student, Jill was involved in conducting research in the area of nonverbal communication, specifically, tactile communication.

She then continued her education at Towson University in Maryland and obtained an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She lived in Pennsylvania  for most of her life, where she raised her two daughters, Alex and Mara, and was a family therapist and a massage therapist.  As a family therapist, she provided home based therapy to children who were in danger of being removed from the home, or who had been removed and were being reintegrated into the home, as well as to providing therapy to the entire family. Therapy included activities for the entire family such as swimming, hiking, biking and camping.

When her children were older, she decided to pursue her interest  in tactile communication and attended the Valley School of Healing Arts in Port Trevorton, PA where she graduated with a degree in massage therapy.  She then worked part time at a day spa in Harrisburg, PA.

Jill also studied yoga with Sudharman and went through Yoga Teacher Training with him.  She is a registered (RYI 200) Integral Yoga Instructor.

Jill hopes to utilize all of her skills as an acupuncturist.  She believes that all of her training will be put to use treating patients holistically---mind, body, and spirit.
